I am a 50-year-old nurse, and you might reasonably ask why I am building apps, writing music, creating art, and publishing articles instead of simply doing my job and going home.

A few years ago, I became very ill with heart problems. I spent a long time with one foot in this world and one in the next. During that period, I had a near-death experience that changed the way I see existence.

I came back with something I can only describe as a gift of understanding. It was not a vision or a message. It was more like a fundamental recalibration of what mattered.

I began seeing connections I had never noticed before. I came to believe that time is the only true currency, that consciousness is what carries forward, and that we are here to participate in existence, not merely consume it.

After that, the world looked different. More of it seemed visible.

People will tell you I am wrong. They may call my model of reality superstition, imagination, or wishful thinking. That is fine. I am not asking anyone to believe me. I am simply sharing what I have built from what I experienced and what I have come to see.

I write music to challenge the programming we absorb without noticing. I build apps that are offline, ad-free, and free of subscriptions because I want to pass the baton — to preserve knowledge, connect ideas and traditions, and make useful tools that actually belong to the people using them.

And I write because ideas are meant to be shared.

I am not motivated by money. I am motivated by participation in being — by creating, exploring, learning, and leaving something behind that did not exist before.

Below is an article explaining The Embryonic Continuum, the model of existence I have developed from these experiences and observations.

For those who would rather see the basic idea at a glance, I have also created a simplified visual summary. You are welcome to download it, share it, and use it however you like.

Thank you for asking “Why?”

Now you know.

Why Am I Doing This?
